My grandmother's name was Wilma but no matter how much I loved her, the name just doesn't work-------anywhere! However, the other longer, harder to pronounce name is beautiful if one says it without rushing. Will---hell-mee-nah. Romantic. Soft. As for a nickname, maybe Mina, not Willie. I gave a beloved doll this name.
