• Very beautiful, another variation could be Bridget, or that could be a nickname.
• Brigitta Skyye: I love this name, it sounds happy and free, with not a care in the world. "Brigitta" is the name of one of the little girls in the musical "The Sound of Music", one of my absolute favourites. "Skyye" is a great second name, and I think the two names flow well together creating a sense of freedom.

Brigitta /BRIG git ta/ is a German form of the name Brigid/Bridget (also spelled Brigitte, but not pronounced like the French /bree ZHEET/. Although the Von Trapp children in the movie The Sound of Music were named Liesl, Brigitta, Marta, Gretl, Kurt and Friedrich, the real Von Trapp children (the ones the movie was based on) were named: Agathe, Hedwig, Johanna, Martina, Maria, Rupert, and Werner.
