Felicity

Felicity was first used as a name by the Puritans in the 17th century. It comes from the English word felicity meaning "Happiness." This word is based on the Latin felicitas meaning "good luck." It was revived in the USA in the 1990s a little bit because of the character Felicity in the American Girls series of books and dolls. However, it was when the tv series Felicity came out in the late 1990s that the name took off in popularity.
