• i love this name because it means happy. It is also my daughters name and she definitely is a happy girl. We named her this because we were calling her Flicker when we first saw her on the scans during pregnancy. It transformed to Flick which is Felicity's nickname.

It was revived in the USA in the 1990s a little bit because of the character Felicity in the American Girls series of books and dolls. However, it was when the tv series Felicity came out in the late 1990s that the name took off in popularity.
