• because of where we got it. We got it from the word Hallelujah (Hubby just prefered the -ie spelling) and in that context it means "Praise the Lord." It's heard of, but uncommon, at least right now. It's cute and spunky!

• I've seen Hallie Kate Eisenburg in movies and I think she is so cute and so I think the name is cute, too.
