• Katelyn Grace: This combo is simple and beautiful all at the same time. Katelyn Mary: Kate is strong, but sweet, playful and down-to-earth. Mary is my Grandmother who was like a second Mother to me. I miss her terribly. She was wonderful, strong, sweet, down-to-earth, unselfish, giving, supportive, courageous,... Simply stated - she was 'the best'.

Katelyn is the form of Caitlin that makes the most sense in a modern form. Caitlin is Irish Gaelic and not supposed to be pronounced like /KATE lin/ (see Caitlin for more details). Katelyn represents a combination of Kate and Lynn, which is what the English pronunciation of Caitlin is.
